SCHOOL PHYSICAL EXAMINATION

School Physical Examinations are requested by schools as part of their entry procedure and then required periodically after that (usually every 3 years).

They help the school confirm that children are fully vaccinated and inform the school about major health issues and special needs. They also provide information to the school about whether or not a child can participate in physical activity at school. They include elements of our Well Child Check but are less detailed and should not be considered as a substitute for our Well Child Check. On the other hand, following a Well Child Check, a doctor can easily complete the necessary paperwork for a school physical.
