FirstMed and Csodalámpa (Magic Lamp) Foundation made terminally ill children’s wishes come true
In the summer of 2012, FirstMed collected HUF 786 000 on behalf of Csodalámpa Foundation. The Foundation’s goal is to provide children suffering from terminal illnesses with memorable experiences by fulfilling their wishes.
As part of the promotion, FirstMed offered discounted prices on three of its preventive medical exams during the months of July and August in 2012, and donated a portion of the proceeds to Csodalámpa Foundation. In this way, the clinic’s clients were provided with incentive to protect their health by using preventive care services at the clinic, while a portion of the discounted fees they paid was used to make sick children’s wishes come true.

FirstMed employees personally presented some of the gifts to the little patients.
FirstMed is proud to support the work of Csodalámpa Foundation, which has fulfilled wishes for nearly 2000 children since 2003.
Férjek Versenye Collected Two Million Forints for Charity
July 1, 2012 (Kisoroszi, Hungary) – FirstMed participated as a key sponsor of the Férjek Versenye (Husbands Competition) for the second consecutive year. The Férjek Versenye is in its fourth year.
This year the tournament was held at Magyar Golf Club and successfully raised two million forints for the Meggyógyulhatsz Egyesület, an organization that helps those suffering and recovering from colon and rectal cancer.
We would like to thank all of the golfers for their dedication to the tournament. They still came to play and suport the cause despite temperatures that reached 38C (100F).

Budapest Zoo Foundation
We have been supporting the Budapest Zoo Foundation since 2008. By “adopting” the Syrian brown bear, Defoe, we are bronze level sponsors, which is also stated on the board by the bear cage.
Being an active supporter of the Fund, we regularly take part in the twice-a-year event organized for the donors with an activity station close to the bears.

Happy Kids Annual Fashion Show
We are proud to sponsor the Annual Fashion Show of Happy Kids International Kindergarten every year, who brilliantly manage to fuse fun with charity. We at FirstMed are glad to contribute with raffle prizes to this succesful tradition of helping those in need.
Go, Zsu, Go!
This year we decided to help a Hungarian Olympic swimmer, Zsuzsanna Jakabos – to her friends just Zsu – in her training for the 2012 Olympics.
Zsuzsanna was mostly known as a medley swimmer, but she recently decided to concentrate all efforts in her best discipline, butterfly. The Pécs-born Jakabos already won a gold medal in the event at the European Short Track Championships, she placed sixth at this summer’s World Championships so she will certainly be a contender in London next year.
Follow the continuous updates of Zsuzsanna on our Facebook page as she gets ready to become one of the medalists of the Hungarian delegation. In order to win she needs to find about a second over the 200 meter course, so it should be an exciting ten months filled with a lot of hard work.
